Blessings for 2013I fell in love with photography a long time ago. I used to force my little sister to dress up and grab her teddy bear and sit in a wooden rocking chair for numerous different set-ups. It usually ended up with her becoming a very cranky two-year old. I waited to formally dress anyone else up until I had my son and let me tell you this-he has been photographed so much. He is such a trooper even to this day as a new teenager at the trying age of thirteen!
My daughter is a whole different story. She is now four and has to be the second most photographed child. :) We love our children they are so special. She didn't let me take her picture from the ages of 1-2. Fiesty, Fiesty! Only her father was allowed that privilege. That's ok because I stood behind him looking over his shoulder telling him how I wanted her to be posed. Then one day around the age of two, I was allowed that privilege. I am not sure what clicked in her that day? Maybe she woke up on the right side of the bed? Was it that extra piece of candy I slipped her? It doesn't matter to me because that was a very happy day for me. We haven't looked back since. Now, not every shoot is a joyride, but I will take the good with the cranky (as long as I get the shots I want!)
The holiday season is in full swing. I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas with friends and family. I expect 2013 to be an incredible year for my family and my photography business. I would love to be able to share my love of photography with you and your family. I am up for anything! No request is off limits.
May the year 2013 be full of blessings in your life! -Danyale (chick behind the lens) Comments
